Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin will hold a New York news conference today, Sunday, November 13th to demand that Newton Gingrich return to the U. S. Treasury the $300,000 Gingrich was paid by Freddie Mac. Andy says Gingrich is guilty of “Gingrich Graft” and helped contribute to the collapse of Freddie Mac and the need for a trillion-dollar taxpayers’ bailout. Andy says Gingrich was engaged in classic Washington insider “pay to play.” Andy asks. “People work hard to earn a third of a million dollars. (NEW YORK) (November 13, 2011) Calling Newton Gingrich’s $300,000 “consulting fee” from Freddie Mac a classic case of Washington insider “Gingrich Graft,” corruption-fighting Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin will hold a New York City news conference today, Sunday, November 13th to demand that Gingrich return his third of a million dollar payment from Freddie Mac to the U. S. Treasury. U. S. taxpayers have been forced to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae as a result of Washington insider corruption in both political parties.

Newton Gingrich “is the latest con man in a ‘Hit Parade of Hucksters’ that is devastating the Republican Party’s presidential campaign and helping to reelect Barack Obama,” Andy says. “What did Gingrich do to be paid $300,000 by Freddie Mac? Gingrich had what amounted to a ‘no show’ job in which he collected a third of a million dollars for doing virtually nothing. We know about ‘no show jobs’ in Chicago and Illinois.

“Crooks like Gingrich are the reason Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae collapsed. The firms were looted by Washington insiders.

“The Washington media that were silent while Freddie Mac burned are now trying to help cover-up Gingrich’s corruption so they can maintain the pretense of a ‘horse race’ in the Republican Party while Gingrich mouths campaign platitudes about starting new wars and ‘transforming’ the world. It's all total nonsense. Gingrich is a sophisticated and intelligent crook. Nothing more.

“Gingrich should start by ‘transforming’ his ‘Gingrich Graft’ into a repayment to the U. S. Treasury.

“Gingrich is without doubt the most personally corrupt politician in the national Republican Party in recent history (we have plenty more Republican crooks in Illinois). Are Republican primary voters really so dumb they are trying to elevate Gingrich into a serious opponent for President Barack ‘Solyndra’ Obama?

“‘Give it Back, Gingrich,’ should be the new rallying cry of honest Republicans. Gingrich had what amounted to a ‘no show’ job and collected a third of a million dollars for doing nothing.
