Chicago News Conference: Presidential candidate Andy Martin says militant lesbian Hilary Rosen has declared “War on Women”

Independent Republican Presidential Candidate and conservative blogger Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference Thursday, April 12th to call on President Barack Obama to disavow the “Declaration of War on Women” issued by militant lesbian Hilary Rosen. “Obama is hiding behind David Axelrod’s skirts,” Andy charges. “Lesbian Hilary Rosen is attacking motherhood and women. The Democratic Party is becoming a disgrace.” Andy says CNN should identify Rosen as a militant lesbian on TV appearances. Andy says CNN also owes Ann Romney an apology for giving Rosen a platform to spread her malignant beliefs. Rosen’s belated “apology” is “too little and too late.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

ANNOUNCEMENT OF CHICAGO/FLORIDA PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN NEWS CONFERENCE

ATTENTION NATIONAL AND CHICAGO DAYBOOK/ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

Republican Presidential candidate Andy Martin says Barack Obama is personally responsible for and should personally apologize for militant lesbian Hilary Rosen’s “War on Women”

Andy says Obama’s campaign rhetoric has taken the Democratic Party “out of control”

Andy says Obama’s “class warfare” attacks are emboldening militant “media lesbians” such as Hilary Rosen to declare “war on women”

Andy says CNN should identify Hilary Rosen as a lesbian activist and not a “Democratic strategist”

(CHICAGO) (APRIL 12, 2012) Independent Republican Presidential Candidate and conservative blogger Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference Thursday, April 12th at 5:00 P.M. to demand that President Barack Obama personally apologize and take responsibility for lesbian activist Hilary Rosen’s “Declaration of war on Women.” Andy says Rosen’s belated apology is insufficient. President Obama should personally apologize to Ann Romney.

“To say moms at home are not working is the insult that only a crackpot media lesbian could countenance,” Andy charges. "Obama may kow’tow to the gay movement but homosexuals do not yet control the Democratic Party. There are tens of millions of Democratic Party moms who are outraged by Rosen’s outbursts. Rosen’s is the real ‘Declaration of War on Women.’ Throughout history parenthood and motherhood have been considered honorable and God-given occupations. For Rosen to smear Ann Romney is disgraceful. And maybe a sign of envy on Rosen’s part.

“CNN should also apologize for the outbursts of this militant wacko. Rosen is a wealthy lesbian who claims to represent ‘waitresses’ and others. I don’t think ordinary working women, or moms, want millionaire Rosen’s support. How many lesbians such as Rosen have struggled throughout history with the challenges of family and children? Not many. ‘Heather has to mommies’ is the construct of the modern gay rights movement.

“Barack Obama’s class warfare and ‘Buffet Rule’ attacks on ‘millionaires and billionaires’ are triggering outbursts from the lunatic fringe of the media and Democratic Party.

“CNN should identify Rosen as a lesbian activist and anti-family advocate, and not as a ‘Democratic strategist.’ What sane ‘Democrat’ subscribes to Rosen's crackpot claims? CNN is deceiving its viewers and readers. To repackage the classic phrase of Lloyd Bentsen, ‘I know lots of good Democrats and not many of them are anything like Hilary Rosen.’ Rosen is a CNN-media Potemkin for working-class Democrats.”

Andy says if Obama fails to apologize and fails to stop his malignant ‘millionaires and billionaires’ rhetoric Obama will only embolden the crackpot wing of the Democratic Party and take the 2012 campaign to a new level of crassness and coarseness.

Andy Martin: Are Republican Party leaders killing off their own presidential candidates?

Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin says the liberal news media are killing off the Republican Party’s presidential candidates and assisting in the reelection of the media’s “champion” President Barack Obama. Martin says that if Republicans Party leaders continue to acquiesce in their own destruction the next dozen “presidential debates” will complete the demolition of the Republican Party’s prospects in 2012. “Who’s in charge?” Andy asks. Andy is in the “top ten” presidential candidates but not in the “top eight” that appear on TV. Andy also comments below on the presidential primary “zombies.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin asks the obvious question: Are Republican Party leaders killing off their own presidential candidates?

Martin says it is a serious mistake for the Republican Party to allow the liberal news media to control the structure of the party’s presidential debates

Andy says “zombie candidates” are undermining the 2012 presidential campaign

(CHICAGO) (October 21, 2011) The original Mayor Richard J. Daley used to say “good government is good politics.” Putting aside the fact that Daley-the-father delivered neither good government nor good politics I’d like to propose a new aphorism for your consideration: “good television” is not necessarily good politics.

The Republican presidential candidates’ debate this week in Las Vegas was great television. Fun to watch. It was lousy politics.

If we have many more debates like the Las Vegas demolition derby then you can kiss the party’s hopes of defeating President Barack Obama goodbye.

Allow me to explain.

There is a “two-tiered” president primary race. There are the eight candidates you see in televised debates, several of whom are “zombie” candidates (and one of whom has a campaign so broke that he couldn’t even afford the plane fare to show up in Las Vegas).

And there is the “second division” of presidential candidates, composed of myself, two former governors and a homosexual advocate, all of whom are campaigning actively. We don’t get a debate platform from the liberal media. But we’re still part of the process. More importantly, we don't check our intelligence and our experience at the door when we enter the presidential candidates’ saloon. I have been campaigning for ten months in New Hampshire. I’m happy with the results so far. If I were a Republican Party leader I would not be so happy with the debates so far.

Tuesday night was exciting television. As someone with forty-three years of background in television I thoroughly enjoyed the food fight. All CNN lacked was giving each candidate a seltzer bottle to squirt their opponents. But the same “debate” was a horrible event for the Republican Party. Unless Republican Party leaders rethink their strategy they may kill off their own candidates before the winner ever gets into the main event with Mr. Obama.

After the debate the liberal media were in ecstasy. I don’t remember how many times I heard “Barack Obama was a big winner tonight” on TV “analysis.” Why would Republicans participate in a continuing debate process that is orchestrated in such a manner that after every meeting Obama is inevitably going to be considered “the winner?” It makes no sense.

But walk backwards with me a little bit.

Question number one: Who is Obama’s “base?” Answer: the liberal news media. In 2008 the media nominated Obama and the media then elected Obama. To be sure John McCain was a lousy candidate. But what was a close race in September became a blow-out in November after the liberal media hounds took their bites out of both McCain and Sarah Palin. The media put Obama in the White House. They continue to be his base. Without the media, Obama is finished.

The media did not “vet” Obama in 2008. There was no investigation into the gaps on his resume. His total lack of experience was ignored. And, there was no investigative research into his bizarre family tree and missing birth certificate. Why do new illegal alien relatives of Obama keep popping up? What else is out there we don’t know about the man? Don’t ask the media to investigate him. They won’t.

When I arrived in Honolulu in October, 2008 I was the first investigator to start asking probing questions about the circumstances of Obama’s birth. Obama immediately flew back to Hawai’i and many believe he tried to shut down my investigation.

Question number two: who is organizing and orchestrating the so-called “debates?” Answer: the liberal news media. If the media are in Obama’s pocket, why would any Republican allow the same media to control the format of debates involving the Republican Party's candidates? Would the Coca-Cola Company allow Pepsi-Cola sympathizers to pick the new head of Coke? Would Ford allow GM to manipulate the selection process for a new Ford CEO? Obviously not. But Republican Party leaders see no problem with allowing the liberal news media to host events, called “debates,” where Barack Obama is the intended “winner” and Republican candidates are the intended “losers.”

These debates are so rigged in Obama's favor they make professional boxing matches look legitimate by comparison.

Numerous persons have noted there are “another dozen” debates already scheduled. At this rate the Republican Party’s stable of presidential candidates will look like a graveyard if the current process is allowed to continue.

So what should Republican Party leaders do? Here are some thoughts. I’d love to hear your reactions (send me a reply).

First, understand that the media do not have to sponsor Republican presidential debates. The Republican Party can and should sponsor its own debates. The debates would not receive as much promotion and publicity but the events wouldn’t be as toxic, either. The media could cover the debates but the party would have substantive discussions instead of sound-bite festivals. How many times do we have to hear Michele Bachmann say “Obama is going to be a one-term president?” Enough already. Michele is a one trick pony, one of the “zombie candidates.”

Second, Republican Party leaders (national, regional, local) should control the agenda and format of the debates. To repeat, the Las Vegas debate was great television, as entertainment, but it was a lousy launching pad for the eventual 2012 presidential nominee.

Third, the Party should consider adopting a Code of Conduct for the Party’s candidates and debates. The behavior of Rick Santorum and Rick Perry was reprehensible when they kept talking over Mitt Romney’s responses. No code of conduct can be made binding. But in my opinion the audience in the Las Vegas hall Tuesday night was distressed by the way the candidates conducted themselves. Let’s at least try to develop a code of conduct.

Part of the problem is that the current debate format provides an incentive for “zombie” candidates such as Rick Santorum to go on the attack as the only means they have of establishing any visibility. Santorum has been “running” for over a year but he has yet to make a dent. So why is he running? Probably to increase the amount of his Fox News consulting contract when he drops out of the race. What is Santorum's day job? I have no idea. Do you know? That’s why I also consider Santorum a “zombie candidate.”

Newton Gingrich has a “campaign” with a million dollars in debt, but he is still spending “other peoples’ money.” Why? To promote his business interests. Gingrich makes his living by stealing small amounts of money from large numbers of little people who are enticed by his slick-talking solutions to complex problems. Gingrich is also looking to renew his Fox News contract, no doubt at a higher fee. Gingrich may register in the opinion polls because of his long-standing name identification but he is also a “zombie candidate.” He is not going to win.

Ron Paul is not a zombie candidate. But he supported by zombies. Paul is a man who sincerely believes the American people want him to fire a ray gun and vaporize the federal government. Sincerity is not a substitute for sanity. But Paul is supported by his cadre of zombies that will be with him until the bitter end. Ironically, Paul has a sliver of the electorate that is passionately dedicated to his policies, but only a sliver. Paul's “base” is as static as Santorum's. Unfortunately for Ron, his “true believers” don't vote in Republican primaries. In fact Occupy Wall Street and Al-Qaeda don’t vote at all. That’s where you find Paul’s “believers” who want to “abolish the Fed” and terminate our foreign policy.

I am preparing a full column (or two) on Herman Cain for the weekend. Stay tuned. Verry interesting.

In the meantime, ask yourself: do Republican leaders have the guts to walk away from the media-sponsored debates that are doing great harm to the party? Do they have the common sense to establish the Republican Party’s own debates? Or are they so addicted to the media heroin that the liberals are injecting into the presidential primary process that Republican Party bosses are already paralyzed and helpless? Where is John McCain when we need him? (No, we really don’t need him; that’s a Herman Cain-style “joke.”)

If Republicans allow the current process to continue then just as they did after the Las Vegas debacle the Democrats and liberal media commentators will be crowing “Obama won” after the next dozen Republican debates. Why would any Republican participate in a process that is rigged from the gitgo to make Obama the winner?

Well, these are my thoughts. But what do I know? I’m only a presidential candidate with over forty years of experience in radio, TV and national policy; the only one with any real international experience and the only one that literally “wrote the book” on Obama. No wonder Obama celebrates when my opponents debate, and then turns around and harasses my campaign. Obama is many things but dumb he is not.

FOOTNOTE: I’m home in Chicago for a week of low intensity politicking and preparation for the start of the primary process. I filed on the first day for the New Hampshire primary. Now I have ten days of “home leave” in Illinois before I head back to our national campaign headquarters and New Hampshire. But I will not just be dozing while I am here; we’ll be planning, organizing and strategizing for the primaries to come. And, of course, writing. More to follow.

Andy Martin: CNN debate shows Republican candidates are out of touch with reality

CNN told Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin there was no room at the inn for Andy at Mondays CNN debate. Andy returns the favor by quoting Psalm 118: The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. The maverick Republican presidential candidate provides his pungent purview of his opponents performance

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin says CNN wants to nominate Michele Bachmann to reelect Barack Obama

Martin analyzes the performance of the seven dwarfs who debated in New Hampshire Monday evening

(NEW YORK)(June 14, 2011) Im not ready to predict I am going to win the New Hampshire primary. But after watching my opponents debate Monday night on CNN, I feel a lot closer to declaring victory and a lot more comfortable about the potential of a long shot upset.

I politely asked the debate sponsors to invite me to the debate. But realism and reality were not what CNN wanted to present.

Like Groucho Marx, I would always be uncomfortable being part of any club that wants me. Thankfully, CNN didnt want me.

A couple of the other rejected candidates protested their exclusion. I did not protest because I knew what was coming. And it arrived.

My Republican Party opponents are in a race of their own all right, but its a race from reality.

I am left as the only Republican presidential candidate of reason and rationality. And Im alone in the race.

My views are those of a traditional Republican conservative, may I say a New Hampshire conservative. I believe in the least possible government to get the job done. I believe in keeping taxes low, but getting the job done. I believe in local control and initiative, so long as the job gets done. My opponents are not traditional Republican conservatives, they are reconstructionists. They are making promises they cant keep to people who are desperate to believe anything. Thats a recipe for reelecting Obama.

I have one advantage none of my opponents do. I know Barack Obama inside and out, as well if not better than he knows himself. Over the past seven years I have fought Obama tooth and nail, fighting for the facts about his past, fighting for the truth about his birth, fighting to defeat him in 2008 when the Republican Party was unwilling to fight back and defend against Obamas attacks. And, yes, I can be a bare-knuckled Chicago street fighter when I have to. Obama knows that. Obama is rattled by my relentless pursuit, which his why his dirt diggers and mud merchants are always pursuing me in return.

Today my opponents are all bold anti-Obama warriors. Where were they in 2008? Truth be told, the current Republican presidential field is Barack Obamas secret weapon.

President Kennedy popularized an old saying, Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. In 2008, the political class, the permanent government, fooled the American people. Obama was not remotely prepared to be president. Today the political classbig banks, big lobbyists, big media, big everythingare preparing to fool us a second time, with the charade that Republicans have a strong field of candidates and any one of them can defeat Obama in 2012. Dream on.

Pundits say Romney won Monday by not losing. Not much to say there.

Newton Gingrich? The incredible shrinking candidate. Sean Hannity relentlessly fantasizes that Gingrich can demolish Barack Obama in a debate. Gingrich had a hard time contending with Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum. Gingrich is nothing more than a cynical peddler, selling his books and TV wares.

Santorum? Well, Santorum.

Pawlenty? He likes to call himself T Paw, but that cat has no paws. He attacks Romney outside the auditorium but is afraid to go for the jugular inside on the stage. No paws T Paw.

That leaves the big three, Cain, Paul and Bachmann.

Cain must be pissed at me. I kept the pressure on CNN to raise the issue of Cains anti-Muslim bigotry, and they did. Cain sounded stupider and stupider. Every time he explains his racism and bigotry against one of the worlds religions, he undermines his own legitimacy. Cain should go back and read some of President George W. Bushs speeches after 9/11. Cain is fading fast. With no real dough coming in, Cain lacks yeast to continue rising, so he will start falling.

Ron Paul? I actually like almost all of Pauls ideas. But I like them in moderation. Paul takes good ideas and takes them to the extremes, where he loses me. And loses the American people. Paul looked so frail on the stage I was afraid he would keel over. Paul wants to withdraw from the world, and issue a pitchfork to every American for defense. I believe we can shave our overseas commitments. But, to pull another catch phrase from the past, mend it, dont end it. A world in which the United States no longer exists as we know it today will be a world on the road to chaos. Kennedy also said Life isnt fair. We love to count our blessings as Americans. But we are always trying to discount the burdens which accompany those blessings.

Donald trump told a lot of lies during his short-lived publicity campaign for his reality show. But Trump told one truth, Paul is not going to be president. So Paul labors on with extreme solutions grafted onto fundamentally rational ideas. I would have Ron Paul in my administration. He is a big picture man, not a president.

That laves the candidate some pundits called the winner Monday night, Michele Bachmann. Bachmann, of course, is the favorite of the leftist media such as CNN and MSNBC. That should tell you something. To hear Bachmann talk, she is a heavy hitter in the halls of congress. But she couldnt even get accepted in a secondary leadership role by her colleagues in the House; they know what a lightweight she is. They turned her down. Flat. Now she wants to lead the world.

No one ever said Tea Partiers were smart. They delighted in defeating Republicans in 2010 and in handing control of the U. S. Senate back to the Democrats. Could you imagine how much better things would be today if Republicans also controlled the U. S. Senate? Thanks to the Tea Party, we dont.

Tea Partiers are a lot like Ron Paul. They have great ideas but self-defeating execution. I accept Tea Partiers theology but I often reject their preaching.

So, what about Bachmann? The left-wing media love Bachmann because she is entertaining, and she proves there is a radical right that will take the bait for extremist, simplistic solutions. No Republican candidate who is supported by the leftist media can win the presidency. The mainstream media want Bachmann to win so she can lose, and lose big time, to Barack Obama. How stupid can Republicans be? Pretty stupid.

Michelle Bachmann is a great entertainer, but not much more. Here are three reasons.

First, Bachmann endlessly repeats that she had five children of her own, as well as 23 foster children. Once again, Bachmann manifests the Tea Party syndrome, sound ideas laminated with wacky execution. Bachmann doesnt tell us how many foster kids she had at any one time in her home, and we can be sure all 23 were not there at the same time. Or were they? Who knows? No one dared to ask.

Ask any parent with five children, is providing for five kids easy? Not at all. Five kids are a lot of work, even with a husband who helps. But because Bachmann lacks internal controls (which is why she often blurts out nonsense) she took on the care (presumably over a period of time) of two dozen more children.

Foster kids are often neglected and abused. They need lots of personal attention. How much personal attention and individual care can a mother give that already works full-time and has five kids of her own for starters? So, when you look closer into the 23 foster kids story, it really reflects poorly on Bachmanns judgment as a parent, as a mother, and as an adult.

Then there is Bachmanns war against the environment. Here Bachmann is completely unhinged. I do not doubt that EPA bureaucrats exceed their authority and their mandate from time to time. But the Republican Party has historically been the party of the environment. The EPA was created by a Republican president. Bachmann wants to wage war on the EPA.

Out in the boondocks where Bachmann grew up and lived, environmental problems may not have been as obvious when she was a child (although excessive pig and chicken production are a just a couple of the constant threats to the environment of Iowa today, Bachmanns home state).

Let me speak directly to Michele: Michele, I have lived in big cites. I remember when you would have dirty linens, full of soot, if you opened your windows in Chicago or New York. I remember when GE was dumping PCBs in the Hudson River, and contaminated that great waterway. I remember when the air was not fit to breathe in many of our cities. No, cleaning up the environment is never easy. It has taken decades to undo the damage of decades. And, yes, occasionally the EPA oversteps.

But I am not willing to pander to your base, Michele, and tell them we should do away with the EPA and let big business start polluting all over again. No thank you. I support the EPA when its right, and as president would correct its abuses when the agency is wrong.

In fact, the abolish the EPA mentality is a large part of whats wrong with both political parties. Both Democratic and Republican candidates are funded by large law firms and lobbyists, big business and Wall Street crooks and polluters. Thats why the American people despise Washington and despise the Congress. Voters are not stupid.

My observations on the deficiencies in my opponents may irritate some Republicans. But my campaign is grounded in reality not fantasy. Americans want to remove Obama not because he is a Democrat but because he is a socialist and radical. (I was the first person to call Obama a socialist on national TV which is one of the reasons he despises me.) Ordinary Americans identify conservatism with conservative ideas, conserving what we have, not gambling on untested theories and self-defeating and simplistic solutions to solving the problems of a complex world.

No, CNN told me there was no room at the Inn for me on Monday night. But, as my coreligionists on the religious right are aware, Saint Peter reminds us in scripture that The stone the builders rejected became the cornerstone. If Ive got Groucho Marx and St. Peter in my corner, now you know why Obama is afraid of my candidacy.

Ill be in New Hampshire on Thursday to tape three new TV commercials. (An announcement with specifics will come late Tuesday morning.)
