Andy is the only Republican presidential candidate from New Hampshire and thus the only GOP presidential eligible to vote in today’s primary.

“Jeb Bush is not the successful public official seen in his slick TV ads,” Andy says. “We will continue to attack Bush in South Carolina, Nevada and Florida, simply by telling the truth about ‘Jebbie.’ Bush and his Wall Street cabal of anti-American plutocrats must be stopped.

“I am the only New Hampshire resident who is a candidate in the GOP presidential primary, truly a ‘favorite son’ of the state. I will have more to say about my candidacy and why I am continuing later in the week after our local primary hoopla quiets down.

“I was listening to Rush today and Rush reported Bush says he will not criticize Obama. Why should he? Jeb Bush and Obama are two peas in a pod. The claim that Bush was a ‘conservative’ in Florida is nonsense. Bush threw a little conservative ‘chum’ to the party faithful, while he and his supporters looted the state. Bush enriched his campaign contributors and then hightailed it out of office before the economy caved in - courtesy of his incompetent brother in the White House. All of Jeb’s ‘gains’ were erased by his brother’s economic collapse.

“Pardon me, but I am not an admirer of the Bush family. Very nice people, but very lousy leaders. The three Bushes have done incalculable damage to our economy and our national security. ‘Poppy’ (G.H.W.) Bush was a nice fellow, but he was a failed president, and so was his son G W Bush. Two failed Bush presidencies are enough. Poppy Bush’s incompetence gave us Bill Clinton. Need I say more?”

The ‘rumors’ were considered serious enough that they were reported by the Associated Press, ABC News and many other media. I have been a political opponent of Jeb Bush’s for decades. “I should point out that Bush formally denied the media reports of his sexual misconduct, but those reports were widespread and persistent. “I have provided below links to numerous mainstream media and Democratic Party ‘attack’ sites discussing Bush’s ‘rumored’ sexual improprieties in Florida,” Andy says. “The mainstream media in 2016 are allowing Bush to portray himself as a competent governor of Florida when in reality his administration was a chaotic failure. No one is pointing points out Jeb was almost defeated for reelection. Voters in 2016 have a right to know how Bush was actually viewed when he was serving in Tallahassee. I began exposing Bush’s corrupt practices in 1994, long before he was actually elected. After Bush left office he began to line his pockets with cash from firms he had regulated as a governor.

“Bush has a massive sense of entitlement; that arrogance was demonstrated in the way the allegations of his sexual impropriety were suppressed in Tallahassee. But voters have a right to know who ‘Jeb’ really is. If Bubba Clinton’s sexual misconduct is still relevant, so is Jeb Bush’s. I will tie up the loose ends with more reporting about Bush’s failures before the South Carolina presidential primary.

“It is my personal opinion, based on knowing Bush for over twenty-five years, that he was a failure as a public official and is a joke as a presidential candidate. But if Bush and his Wall Street billionaires are allowed to pollute the airwaves with TV commercials trumpeting his imaginary accomplishments, people will be deceived into thinking he is a legitimate candidate when he is not. The Bush Family ‘dynasty’ is finished. Jeb is too little, too late,” Andy continues. “I urged Jeb not to file or to withdraw his candidacy, but he insists on forcing his incompetence on New Hampshire voters.

“While media have generally reported on Bush’s activities, most of those reports are long in the past. There is no current reporting in 2016 to counteract the fabrications that Bush’s billionaire supporters are currently airing on TV. In part, the dichotomy between long-ago reporting and currently misleading ads is a failure of our media system to inform voters in a timely manner. There is little in depth reporting when voters are actually paying attention shortly before the primaries start taking place. ‘Old news’ is just that; old news. Few voters are aware of what was published years ago.

“My ad is completely factual where facts involving Bush are alleged, based on reporting of the Associated Press, and my accusations against Jennifer Horn also hit the mark. Horn is a disaster for New Hampshire Republicans, as I will document in a later report.”

In 1999-200, Andy ran an ad on WMUR-TV charging that George W. Bush wanted to start a war with Iraq. Andy’s ad proved prophetic. The ad is generally credited with helping defeat Bush in the 2000 New Hampshire primary.

GOP presidential candidate Andy Martin will hold a Manchester, New Hampshire news conference today, Monday, January 18th, to explain Part One of “Why Ted Cruz is unfit to serve as president.” Andy’s “unfitness” series will deal with Cruz’ financial deficiencies as a candidate and not his Canadian birth status. “Donald Trump is a super-successful businessman,” Andy says. “But he is a very inexperienced, unprepared and often disorganized candidate. Trump is attacking Cruz for his prior failure to file financial reports. Unfortunately, Trump is missing the ‘forest for the trees.’ Trump, in real estate terms, is ‘leaving a lot of money on the table.’ Ted Cruz’ family situation is such that he simply is unelectable because of his wife’s career at Goldman Sachs while that firm was looting Middle America. The disqualification is not that Cruz overlooked his Goldman Sachs loan; the real disqualification is that Cruz’ career was financed by his wife’s tainted Goldman cash.

(Manchester, NH) (January 16, 2016)  Republican presidential candidate Andy Martin will hold a Manchester, New Hampshire news conference today, Monday, January 18th to explain Part One of “Why Ted Cruz is unfit to serve as president.” Part Two will follow later this week.

“I accept Ted Cruz’ explanation that he may have ‘overlooked’ disclosure of his Goldman Sachs loan in running for the Senate, even though the oversight is very suspicious,” Andy says. “But the real issue is not the non-filing. The disqualifying issue for Cruz is that electing him would place a Goldman Sachs employee in the White House as first lady. That is simply unacceptable to the American people. If it looks as though Cruz might be nominated, that will put Bernie Sanders on a short track to the Oval Office.

“The Cruz situation raises interesting issues concerning the modern definition of ‘family’ for presidential campaign purposes. Traditionally, spouses and children wee ‘off-limits.’ But that was in the Bess Truman-Mamie Eisenhower era. Heidi Cruz is an integral part of the Cruz campaign. Heidi recently sent me an appeal for money:

This is the lowest attack against Ted to date and the troubling fact is it’s not going to stop.

Ted and I expect an all-out assault from the media elites and we don’t have much time before Iowa to let these attacks go unanswered.

If Heidi is in the thick of the campaign, then her financial history with Goldman Sachs is fair game. If Cruz’ spouse was a bank robber, no one would doubt that the Cruz ‘family’ was unfit to be First Family. Well, Heidi Cruz got rich working for a firm that robbed Main Street and Middle America and helped precipitate the financial collapse of America's economy, all while profiting from its own insider connections.

“Not surprisingly, Ted Cruz has not released his tax returns and Heidi’s tax returns. But it is obvious if he and Heidi could borrow half a million dollars from Goldman Sachs, and another half a million from Citibank, Heidi was making millions while working for a firm that was fleecing the very evangelical Americans that Cruz is now soliciting with pious pronouncements. Why is a bank robber any different than a corporate robber that destroyed our financial markets and got richer in the process?

“Just days ago, Goldman agreed to pay billions more in penalties for its financial fraud. I have lost track of all of the fines and penalties Goldman paid for fraud and trickery on Wall Street while Heidi Cruz was working for the firm.

“Electing Cruz would put a Goldman Sachs ‘robber’ right in the White House. Is all forgiven? Was Goldman’s greed and fraud just a mirage? Sunday night Bernie Sanders used Goldman’s speaking fees to Hillary Clinton as a disqualifying factor for her. Because Clinton cannot attack Cruz for Goldman cash while taking some for herself, the more likely Cruz becomes as a nominee the better the chances Sanders could win for the Democrats.

“Republicans are cocksure they can defeat Sanders. I am not so sure. When has the foreclosure fraud crisis, and the way hedge funds and Wall Street firms are still foreclosing on innocent homeowners, been an issue in the so-called ‘debates?’ Never. Hillary Clinton says she is for African-Americans. But Hillary has taken cash from Goldman and other Wall Streeters at the same time as hedge funds and other financial firms continue to file phony forecloses on minorities. What hypocrisy. Except that the Cruz’ are just as big hypocrites as the Clintons.

“The day is coming when I will ask presidential voters to focus on the continuing crisis of foreclosure fraud, and to seek promises from candidates that they will reach back and prosecute the villains who destroyed our cities and small towns with fraudulent foreclosure lawsuits. I am preparing to focus on Wall Street foreclosure fraud as a pox on both parties. Their silence is deafening.

“While Ted Cruz was rising in politics he was surreptitiously relying on his wife’s income to foster his political career. Heidi Cruz was in effect a ‘Mafia Princess’ of Wall Street. Do we want to reward Goldman Sachs by placing one of is employees in the White House? Absolutely not. Millions of Americans lost their homes because of the financial trickery of Goldman and Wall Street firms and hedge funds. That trickery is still going on. Putting a Goldman employee in the White House would be a slap in the face to the millions, probably tens of millions, of victims of Goldman Sachs' greed and gross abuse of our free markets.

“Heidi Cruz obviously wasn’t paid millions of dollars to lick envelopes at Goldman. She had a job that provided lavish compensation, for using financial legerdemain to steal from the American people. For a private citizen such behavior may be lawful; for a president’s spouse? For shame. I believe Heidi Cruz and every Goldman employee is guilty even if they did not personally engage in trickery. They knew they were profiting from the firm’s perfidiousness.

“I bear Ted Cruz no ill will. If he is nominated, I will vote for him. In many respects his life is a testament to the American Dream which I honor. But in rising through the ranks he and his wife profited from the misery of millions or ordinary Americans, the very Middle American Evangelicals he is now trying to trick again, into voting for him. Cruz used his wife’s blood money from Goldman to help finance his senate campaign. This time, his scheme will not succeed.

“Republicans should wake up to the reality that Ted Cruz’ wife’s relationship to Goldman Sachs is a disqualifying factor. We do not need a ‘Bonne and Clyde’ of Goldman Sachs in the White House.

“If Ted wants to stay in the race, he should release both his and his wife’s tax returns going back fifteen years (the way Jeb Bush did) and release all of the paperwork disclosing his wife’s career and compensation from and relationship with Goldman Sachs that allowed them to receive a $500,000 loan. Once that information has seen the light of day, voters can make up their own minds concerning his fitness to be nominated and serve. I have my opinion. What’s yours?”
