Republican presidential candidate Andy Martin will hold a
news conference today near LaGuardia Airport Delaware County Pennsylvania in gratuitously
attacking Greek-Americans as a class, without any provocation, and making
bigoted remarks, is unacceptable. Almost 100 years ago, Greek-Americans formed
a civic organization, AHEPA, to fight anti-Greek defamation. Obviously, that
task continues. I am asking the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to immediately
suspend Judge Michael F. X. Coll until the formal judicial disciplinary process
can work.” Andy has previously been given special leave of court to appear
before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. A copy of his petition to the Pennsylvania
Supreme Court is an attachment to emailed versions of this release. The petition
should be received and filed Tuesday.

(New York August 24, 2015 ) “When I announced my
presidential campaign, I made it clear that I did not expect to win the
nomination, but that I was campaigning to advance an agenda of important issues
that needed to be addressed: [1] standing up to save the New Hampshire primary
from national media encroachment; [2] standing up to protect the role of
Alexander Hamilton on our currency, since he was one of the most distinguished
founding fathers; [3] standing up against political correctness; [4] standing
up for the embattled people of Greece; [5] standing up for public integrity and
a continuing fight against judicial, political and governmental corruption; 6]
standing up against Jeb Bush.
“Much to my surprise, the first issue that has arisen is the
need to stand up for Greek-Americans. I have been fighting against judicial
misconduct since I was a young law student at the University
of Illinois Pennsylvania
judge had made unprovoked anti-Greek remarks in a judicial proceeding. I have
asked the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to suspend the judge. There is no place in
our courts for the kind of bigotry manifested by Judge Michael F. X. Coll.
“My petition to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court says it all.
We will be overnighting the petition Monday and expect the court to receive the
petition Tuesday.
“My maternal grandparents were Greek immigrants who arrived
on our shores 100 years ago and achieved the American dream. No citizen of
Greek-American heritage should have to stand by while a judge utters words of
unspeakable bigotry in an American court. I may be a ‘dark horse’ presidential
candidate with no hope of winning, but I am marching at the front of the parade
when it comes to fighting for American values and against arrogance and
misconduct in our legal system.”
