Dear American:
This is my ninth letter to the American people from the 2016
campaign trial.
Many of you heard President Barack Obama Sunday night. The
speech was a loser, perhaps even counterproductive. In this ninth of my letters
I would like to first review my own history with Obama and why I am a candidate
for president, and then specifically analyze some of the major flaws in Obama’s
speech. Monday I will hold a news conference to expand on the views in these
remarks. Tuesday I will become the first presidential candidate to issue a
detailed and specific blueprint of how we can fight ISIS
and win.
1. My history with President Obama
Ten years ago, in 2005, I began researching and
investigating then-Senator Barack Obama. All of the evidence and the analysis I
have produced since then has been proven correct. Eight years ago, in 2007, as
part of my research I produced a “Psychological Profile of Barack Obama” (also the
first chapter in my book, see below) in which I explained why Obama would be ineffective
in a crisis. My prediction has proven 100% correct. Sunday’s speech reinforces
my views eight years ago that Obama was/is psychologically incapable of being a
strong commander-in-chief. You don’t have to trust me; you can simply trust my
track record in analyzing and predicting Obama’s character.
2. Why am I running for president?
Sometimes even my best friends are baffled. “Why run for
president Andy,” they say, “when you could be out partying and having a good
time?” I am not going to win the nomination; are my efforts therefore a gesture
in futility? NO.
I am running because I am the only candidate who is an expert
in the areas where presidential experience is essential. We elected a good man
in 2000, George W. Bush, but he was totally inexperienced and he left behind a
disaster. Many Americans thought they were voting for a good man in 2008, and
Obama is going to leave behind an even bigger disaster than Bush. So, yes,
experience counts. I have the real world experience the other candidates lack.
They are professional politicians (with two notable exceptions). I am not.
My experience brings great value to the political process;
as I campaign to advance my candidacy I also have an opportunity to criticize
and support the efforts of other candidates. I am in the race to stay but I
will support the Republican nominee. So, yes, there is a valuable purpose that
is served by my campaign and by my efforts to offer views and insights and proposals
based on genuine experience and not based just on campaign nonsense. (You can
read my terror/counterterror qualifications below.)
3. Sunday night we received more “Mush From the Wimp”
A controversial 1980 Boston Globe headline accused President
Jimmy Carter of “Mush From the Wimp” (please see link below). Sunday night we
got more of the same. Barack Obama has a world view that is anti-American.
There is simply no other way to explain it. He has devastated the national security
of this nation, to the point where we now have home grown terrorists
slaughtering American citizens. But Obama is not going to change. His Sunday
speech was truly more mush from a new wimp.
4. Obama’s “Big Lie” about the “No-Fly List”
One of the biggest Democratic talking points for the past
few days has been that “someone on the no-fly list can guy a gun.” Obama called
this “outrageous” in a Saturday radio address. All of the Republican presidential
candidates have had an opportunity to explain the no-fly anomaly, yet none of
them have done so. Until me. So why is it that someone whose name is on the
“no-fly list” can buy a gun? The truth is deceptively simple and
straightforward.
Under our Constitution, national security and foreign policy
have a special status. Ordinary domestic issues have lesser standards of constitutional
protection. The dichotomy between the “no-fly list” and the purchase of guns
exists because Congress wanted to exempt placement on the no-fly list from
judicial scrutiny, but could not constitutionally ban judicial review of
decisions to bar citizens from buying guns.
If your name is on the no-fly list, you have virtually no
hope of getting it removed (occasionally names are removed). If you file a lawsuit
the courts have accepted the government’s lack of any explanation for placement
on the no-fly list as a matter of “national security.” But if you are denied
your right to purchase a gun, you can go to court to seek judicial review. The
government cannot claim a secrecy exemption from explaining the basis for its
action denying you a weapon.
The Democrats’ claim that names on the no-fly list should
not be entitled to buy guns is contradicted by the Constitution, and by congressional
intent to shield intelligence-gathering and national security sources from
scrutiny in a courtroom. So, if your name is on the no-fly list you have little
hope of getting it removed, because the court will not intervene to override a
national security determination. But if you are denied the right to buy a gun,
by all means go to court. Why are Obama, Clinton and the Democrats demagogueing
this issue and misrepresenting the legal issues to the American people? Because
they live by lying to us.
5. Where is Obama’s “AUMF?????”
Sunday night Obama made a big stink about the need for an Authorization
for the Use of Military Force (“AUMF”). So why doesn’t he have one already?
Because he has sabotaged his own AUMF, already! You probably remember Obama’s
“surge” into Afghanistan ,
which also included a date by which the forces would be withdrawn. When Obama
submitted a new AUMF to Congress some time ago it was loaded with the same kind
of Obama tricks: he had termination dates, and limitations placed on his own
AUMF!
In other words Obama
wanted to handicap himself as commander-in-chief (go back and read the
stories). Congress viewed Obama’s AUMF efforts as a joke, because they were. Obama
sabotaged his own AUMF, and now complains he doesn’t have one? Is that crazy? Would
you trust this man to lead your son or daughter in battle? No way. He is a
blatant, two-faced liar when he claims Congress denied him an AUMF. He could
have a powerful, open-ended AUMF tomorrow. Obama doesn’t want one. He would rather
lie in his own lies.
6. “Where’s the rest of me???”
One of President Ronald Reagan’s greatest lines in Hollywood
was “Where’s the rest of me?” (please see link below). Obama gave a speech
about ISIS Sunday night, and lopped off “ISIS East” in Libya .
“Where was the rest of ISIS ?” Obama said he was
attacking ISIS in Syria
and weakly he is. But in the meantime ISIS has created a
doppelganger terrorist state in Libya ,
which is not under any American or “Coalition 65” attack. While Obama claimed
he had “contained” Libya
the terror group has already created a new safe haven in Libya .
When has Obama dropped any bombs on or attacked the ISIS
“state” in Libya ?
Never. More shading the truth Sunday night.
7. Obama’s missing “coalition force”
You probably already know about Obama’s plan to train a
Syrian military force. They trained four (4) people and the effort collapsed. Obama
then stated he didn’t believe in his own plans, which is sure to give our men
and women in uniform great concern. His claim that he is leading a coalition of
“65 nations” is a scam, a delusion and a Big Lie to the American people.
There is no way Obama can eliminate ISIS
without a strong American military effort. (Tuesday I will lay out a real-world
blueprint for an anti-ISIS force.) How long does Obama think he can lie and get
away with it? He tried it one more time on Sunday, but the results were not
good. If Obama had asked me for my advice about a Sunday speech, I would have
said “Barry, shut up and get something done, and then talk to the American
people. Don’t repeat the same old talking points without any results to show.”
8. When the liberals have lost NBC News, they have lost
the war
I am currently in a battle with NBC for Equal Time access.
NBC is undeniably the “liberal network” or, as some call it, “Nobody But
Clinton” network. Sunday night the NBC Newsers were unhappy. They knew Obama
had failed. His speech was a “total loser.” When Obama has lost NBC News, he’s
lost the war. Even NBC (which does have some competent people out in the field)
is tired of the same old Obama shtick.
I could go on, but you get the idea. Sunday night’s speech
was just another Obama scam. I will have more to say Monday morning at my news
conference. Tuesday I lay out the blueprint for victory over ISIS .
Unlike Barry Obama, I actually know something about the real world. That’s why
I continue to be a presidential candidate. By telling the truth and laying out
real world facts and solutions, I’m already a winner, the same way I was in
2008 when I accurately predicted Obama would be a failure (and many people
refused to listen). Stay tuned.
