“There have been reports that Ron Paul earned nearly a million dollars in one year by allowing his name to be used to publish extremist newsletters (Paul’s version) or that Paul personally wrote and/or edited those newsletters (my belief),” Andy says. “As a presidential candidate Paul should make full disclosure of his links to Ron Paul & Associates, including how much he earned from his company and what records survive to document the activities of the firm.
“We have been doing original and independent research into Ron Paul’s business career. The liberal media have not reported on Paul’s business activity, perhaps because they want to shield him from scrutiny now that it has become apparent Paul’s views fall on the ‘lunatic fringe’ of the political spectrum, and nowhere near mainstream conservative views and positions.
“Did Paul earn millions from Ron Paul and Associates? Who wrote his columns (Paul’s claim)? Did Paul write them (my belief)? What records survive and who holds them for Ron Paul & Associates. The public has a right to know. My campaign has gone beyond earlier media research into Paul’s corprpate career and we have more questions about Paul’s business background. ‘Ron Paul & Associates’ is not the only venture that raises questions,” Andy says.
“If I had to guess I would say that none of the liberal media have actually dug into Paul’s business activities the way my campaign has. Ironically, I agree with the general direction of many of Ron Paul’s views and policies. I just do not take them to the extreme ends that he does.
