Presidential candidate Andy Martin’s emergency court action saves New Hampshire landmark

Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin filed an emergency petition with the New Hampshire Supreme Court on Wednesday to prevent the sale of New Hampshire’s landmark hotel “The Balsams” to Ocean Properties, Ltd. On Thursday, twenty-four hours later, Ocean Properties backed out. Martin claims a massive victory in saving New Hampshire’s North Country’s largest employer. “This time the little people won,” Martin says. “I am both humbled and honored to have been of assistance. With me, New Hampshire’s Republican and Independent presidential primary voters get performance, not promises.”

Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin claims a massive victory as his New Hampshire Supreme Court petition blocks the sale of “The Balsams” hotel in Dixville Notch

Martin says the “sale” of The Balsams was tainted with impropriety and Ocean Properties knew it could not survive judicial review

Martin’s petition asked New Hampshire’s highest court to block the proposed sale and to order a new “transparent” sale of the landmark hotel; the sale is now cancelled

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW HAMPSHIRE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY NEWS CONFERENCE (FRIDAY, COLEBROOK COUNTRY CLUB)

ATTENTION NATIONAL AND NEW HAMPSHIRE DAYBOOK/ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

On Wednesday Andy Martin asked New Hampshire Supreme Court to block the proposed sale of the New Hampshire landmark hotel “The Balsams” to Ocean Properties, Ltd; twenty-four hours later on Thursday Ocean Properties cut and ran and cancelled the deal

Martin says Governor John Lynch and Attorney General Michael Delaney are still violating New Hampshire’s Right-to-Know law and he will pursue his claims against New Hampshire’s shady leaders

Martin says he’s now proven he is New Hampshire’s
“Favorite Son” candidate in the 2012 presidential primary

(CONCORD, NH) (NEW YORK)(August 11, 2011) Corruption-fighting Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin won a major victory for New Hampshire’s North Country Thursday when his emergency petition to the New Hampshire Supreme Court to block the proposed sale of The Balsams to Ocean Properties, Ltd. resulted in Ocean Properties backing out of the transaction.

Martin told New Hampshire’s highest court The Balsams sale was tainted with corruption.

Twenty-four hours later, Ocean Properties cancelled The Balsams purchase.

Martin will hold a victory news conference at the Colebrook Country Club, Friday, August 13th (details below).

“This time the little people won,” Martin says. “Ocean Properties’ dirty dealing could not stand review by the New Hampshire Supreme Court. It didn’t take long for the buyer to back out after the corrupt practices leading to the sale were exposed. When Andy Martin came calling, Ocean Properties cut and ran. That’s what we need in a president. I’d sort out the Chinese just as fast as I sorted out the real estate hucksters at Ocean Properties.

“I was already calling myself New Hampshire’s ‘Favorite Son’ candidate in the 2012 presidential primary. I think I’ve now proven my right to use the term by saving one of New Hampshire’s largest employers from closing,” Andy says.

“This is my second court victory in three months. In June I filed a lawsuit under the Ohio Constitution that forced a corrupt businessman to redo local legislation.”

The Balsams is the North Country’s largest remaining employer.

Martin will now watch to see that there is not more incompetent administration and possible corruption of the Tillotson Trust by the self-serving trustees. “I am not going to abandon the people of the North Country,” Andy promises. “If people want me to, I will step into the shoes of Neil Tillotson and see that his desire to serve the residents of the North Country is preserved and protected from flaccid trustees, financial predators such as Ocean Properties and craven politicians such as Lynch and Delaney.”

Martin is a legendary Illinois corruption fighter who has exposed dirty dealing and helped send crooked politicians and judges to jail in Chicago and Illinois (www.AndyMartin.com). As a result of Andy’s coming “home” to New Hampshire as a presidential candidate (Martin’s mother was born in Manchester), he turned his guns on New Hampshire corruption and took aim at the fraudulent practices behind the sale of The Balsams.

Martin says Governor Lynch and Attorney General Delaney are still violating the state’s Right to Know law.
