You are going to have a real choice for president in 2012. A choice between “more of the same” (my opponents) and a hard-hitting Republican with a real track record of fighting and exposing Barack Obama. Take a look at my web site.

All of the Republican candidates are better than sad sack Barack Obama. All of them. But only one has actual foreign policy experience, and that’s me. At a time when our vital interests abroad are challenged by endless wars and unexpected revolutions, only one candidate has the chops to take on the special interests and restore both American prosperity at home and American prestige overseas. In the days ahead I will be outlining my proposals and programs.

It’s time for Republicans to have an adult conversation with the American people.

I support the goals of Tea Party activists. They are tired of being governed by a bipartisan Washington elite that has bankrupted us at home and embarrassed us abroad. But I also have the worldwide experience to exercise informed judgment. Sound decisions come from experience, not slogans. I welcome any comparison with and debate with my distinguished Republican opponents.

Stay neutral, keep an open mind and think for yourself as you decide which candidate best exemplifies the qualities of our beloved President Ronald Reagan.
